Ultra-Precision Single-Point Diamond Turning of a Complex Sinusoidal Mesh Surface Using Machining Accuracy Active Control

Single-point diamond turning (SPDT) assisted with slow tool servo (STS) is the most commonly utilized technique in fabrication of optical modules. However, path significantly affects quality machined surface. In order to realize determined machining accuracy effectively, a generation (TPG) method based on active control (MAAC) presented. The relationship between and error studied. Corner radius compensation (CRC) calculation chord residual are detailed. Finally, effectiveness proposed approach verified through simulation cutting experiment complex sinusoidal mesh surface fabrication.
